    Tourism In Sikkim?

I've never heard very much about tourism in Sikkim. It piques my interest, as it border on China. Has anyone here ever been there? Are there any special places one would want to visit there?

    Chocolate & Tourism

A friend of mine recently brought me chocolate from South Africa. She insisted it was the best, but I would have to say that I am still partial to German chocolate.

What Is The Best Way To Travel In India?

More countries would benefit from the use of an "Uber"-type service, but I don't think taxi drivers are in fear of their jobs in India. I know that it operates in Australia, and the Aussies actually have mixed emotions about it.

    India to SriLanka Ferry Service

Really? Swimming? Also, I hadn't thought about the fact that if there were such a service, it wouldn't be advisable, due to refugees. It's a sad time, and I think that some aspects of tourism are being affected by it.

    Bengal Tiger Tours?

In India, you can book tours through wildlife sanctuarys and also, you can book a tour in search of a certain animal. I'm looking to book one that goes in search of the bengal tiger. I've heard there is one that starts in Delhi, however, I have no idea which area it covers, or what time of year...

    Exotic Cocktails?

There are, indeed, some very good cocktails made with gin. For instance, a couple of classics - a martini or a Tom Collins. However, I can see where those may also be considered 'mixed drinks'. Although, a cocktail is basically a 'mixed drink'.

I Didn't Expect It To Take So Long

I doubt that anyone makes an impromptu decision to visit India. Most people book way in advance. If you prepare your trip for the following year, you have plenty of time to get your paperwork together. Just don't procrastinate! Get started as soon as possible!

Humans Of New York In Pakistan

How interesting! I will have to look that up. It does give me ideas on what I could do whenever travelling and visiting big cities. The 'regulars' of a place probably make for some very interesting stories.

    Rain In Chennai

I just read a story about how it has been raining so badly in Chennai, that it caused even the airport to be shut down. I realize this was an unusual occurance for the rain to be so harsh, but, in general, Is Chennai usually a rainy place?

    Tips For Finding Travel Partners

I like travelling alone, because you are free to go where you want, do what you want, stay as long as you want, etc. I probably wouldn't do that, though, unless I had been there before, and sort of know a little about the place. Being alone in a strange land is not really a good idea.

    Seasons?

This is a very good question, since weather everywhere seems to be changing. Some places are getting cooler, while others are getting hotter. You should try to see if you can look up a predicted forecast for the time you are preparing to go, in order to be prepared.

    Chocolate & Tourism

I always bring back chocolate from other countries when I travel. Most of my friends and family believe that the chocolate from other countries tastes better than anything you find in the States. However, when I visit friends overseas, they always want me to bring Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!

    Exotic Teas?

I love drinking Darjeeling tea, but I was just wondering if there are any other exotic teas that India is famous for? Are there any blends here that you can't get anywhere else?

Are Hostels Common In Smaller Indian Cities?

Some hotels can be really nice. I prefer hotels to bed and breakfasts whenever I stay in a big city. I like to be in one of the highest floors and have a nice view of the city.

    Apple Pay

What is Apple Pay? Is it like PayPal? I've found that there are a lot of small shops in the US that allow you to pay for goods using PayPal.
