    Bollywood?

I've been hearing the term 'Bollywood' lately, and have no idea what it is referring to. At first, I thought it might be a real place, like a fake movie set or something. Can someone enlighten me?

    Bed Bugs In Hotels

You can never really know what kind of 'creatures' you might encounter when you stay in a hotel. The sad truth is that many guests bring them in themselves, and the hotel owners have no way of controlling that.

    Day Cruises

I have also thought I might want to check out a day cruise when I visit India. However, I wanted to wait and see if time allows. I thought it would probably be best to find one while I'm there, if it even is a possibilty.

    Virtual Walking Tour?

I was advised to take a 'virtual' walking tour before deciding on which walking tour I wanted to book. I've never heard of this before. Can anyone recommend any good virtual walking tours that I can review?

    Are Buses In Delhi Safe?

There are some countries where it is a matter of course that people travel by bus, yet there are some places, I will use Atlanta as an example, where it is frowned upon to ride the bus. In many suburbs, they ban buses, because they think it brings undesirables to the community.

I think that there is just so much more to see while hiking in India than you will find anywhere else. I mean, come on - it's the Himalayas!

What Is The First Thing That Comes To Mind When You Hear India?

I have always thought of India as a vast desert. However, after a few friends visited and couldn't stop talk about it, I looked it up for myself. After I saw all of the beautiful temples and how much more there was to see, I was convinced that I had to take a trip there.

    Bed Bugs In Hotels

I have never encountered bed bugs while vacationing anywhere, and hadn't really thought about it. I guess you can't be too careful anymore, though. There are more and more stories about bed bugs all the time.

    Are Buses In Delhi Safe?

Are buses safe anywhere? It's all public transportation. If you are in a strange land, you just have to be aware of your surroundings and keep both eyes open at all times.

Not Enough Days To Do Everything

There is never enough time to see everything whenever you are on vacation. I usually spend more time running around trying to see it all, and not enough time relaxing and enjoying it. You just have to make a plan, stick to it and then plan to visit again to see different parts.

Trekking Is A Must When Visiting India!

If I am going to visit India, I am definitely going to be trekking. How could you be right there in the Himalayas and not want to go for a little hike? The only problem is, I've had knee surgery recently, so I'm not sure how far I can go. However, the good thing is that I've found that trekking...

I Am Most Excited About Eating Authentic Indian Food!

I have had the experience of travelling to a foreign country and being amazed at how different the 'real' thing actually was! For some reason, what is known as 'authentic' may be quite different from what the real 'authentic' actually is.

    Best Cruise Line?

Thanks for the tip, TravelCheap3! I have, actually, heard of Princess Cruises, but I wasn't aware that they also had a tour that went around India.

Heart Breaking Truth About Beloved Rajma Rice

You will find this a lot, actually, if you check food labels. Many things that are even named 'traditional' will generally come from somewhere else. I remember when I worked in a German shoe factory, my job was to place an insert inside of the shoes that said, "Made In Italy". It was only that...
