    Indian Flat Bread

They all sound delicious. However, I am not a big fan of fried food. I don't think I'll be trying Puri when I visit India. However, the Tandoori Naan sound good. I would love to try this bread when I visit.

    Limo Services

I would suspect that you can rent a limo in India. Like you said the cost will be steep. But if you feel it is the best way to arrive at the event. Then by all means find a good limo service and have fun.

Are Hostels Common In Smaller Indian Cities?

I prefer a hostel to a large hotel. I think you have a better chance to get to know the people. Plus some of the food they prepare in hostels is out of this world. You can't find cooking like that anywhere else.

    Motorcylce Touring

I was also curious about this. I thought for sure renting one would be cheap. Won't I lose a lot of money when I buy a motorbike and sell it when I leave. I'm sure people will want to buy this off me rather cheap. Then turn it around and sell it for a higher price to the next tourist that wants...

    Lamb Vs Goat Meat Differences

When I see anything related to goat in foods I run the other way. Goat meat, milk, and cheese is an acquired taste and not for me. I do love lamb and from time to time buy lamb chops to cook at home.

I Don't Know How To Say No

At time the truth hurts and you have no other choice. If you feel this strongly about not taking your girlfriend with you on your trip. I feel you need to tell her the truth and why you don't want her to go. Otherwise, you can try and test her a bit before leaving. Decide on a few adventures...

    Bangladesh Beaches

A friend of mine visited Bangladesh and was raving about the most beautiful beach in the world. He said this beach was so long and it went on as far as the eye could see. I am curious if this beach is one of the seven wonders of the world people talk about. I'm also curious if India shares this...

Holy Rats Karni Mata Rat Temple

I just read a very interesting stone from National Geographic talking about a temple in northwestern India. The city of Deshnoke has a temple they dedicate to rats. The people of this city consider themselves blessed because of the hordes of rats inside this temple. Here rats are scared and...

    Snake Trainers

I have always be fornicated with the snake trainers. I think it is amazing how they open the basket and can entice the snake to come out with their music. I'm wondering if there is a place where we can see the snakes, watch the trainers, and understand why the snake leaves the basket when he...

    Caves, Caves, And More Caves!

That is a very good question. I noticed there is a few people here on the forum that help people with planning, give information, and let them know about the time of the year certain places are open. I hope one of them will find this thread and give us an answer. I'd also like to know about...

    Khajuraho Temples

I have taken private tours and walking tour. In a private tour normally you go to different factories and watch them make local arts and crafts. Afterwards, you pass through their store to buy a few things on the way out. However, on the private tour you'll have a chance to visit a few more...

Not Enough Days To Do Everything

There is too many places that I want to see in India. I think this happened to me when I visited China. I chose two regions to visit. There was too much to see and do. I fear I'll have to do the same when I visit India. Otherwise, I will spend most of my time traveling from one region to another.

    Baggage Allowance

Currently airline allow for each person to have a carry on bag that weights less and 5 kilo and one suitcase that is 23 kilos or less. On domestic flight within India does anyone know if there would be a problem with the 23 kilo of my suit case. I know in a few countries I'm not allowed to...

Trains Where to place luggage on Indian trains

That is excellent advice. I had no idea I would need a lock. I thought the train would store my bags for me. I think it is important when I'm sleeping to have a way to hide all my important papers and money. I'll need to look for a safe way to do this. Travel bag or small hand bags can be easily...
