There are several travel companies that have great packages such as Cox and Kings,SOTC, Kesri Tours, Thomas Cook. We took the trip with SOTC. We were put up in a great hotel and the package included all sights that a tourist should see. They normally combine Singapore, Bangkok and pattaya.

@Mohit Eagle Honestly I was a bit hesitant to recommend any Ashrams considering so many hidden skeletons of so many Ashrams are exposed. I am sure you would have done a thorough search before naming these Ashrams.

No laundromats in India but the hotels have that facility though expensive. Travelling light is a good idea provided you stay in a hotel that has this laundering facility. It also depends on the length of your stay. If it is just for a few days then you can carry your dirty linen back with you.
