    Bhutan, A Paradise On Earth

Your guide is outstanding and offers so much information. This sounds like a lovely place to visit. I think the next time I visit India, I should only stay one or two days, Then fly off to Bhutan and stay there for a few days.

    Home Stays

I was just reading another post about travel and someone suggested we check into home stays.. Is this the same as they have in a few other countries. A person opens their home and rents out a few room to tourists? You live in the home and they prepare your breakfast and dinner for you?

    Day Cruises

Grace this sounds perfect. I would love to travel one day by water. I think it would be an excellent way to relax, view the coast line, and enjoy a day on the water. I know there is better way to travel in India but I have always wanted to take a cruise ship. I don't want a 7 day cruise. I just...

    Tree Bridges In Cherrapunji, Meghalaya

After reading this I had to go and take a look. That is amazing how a tree can grow like this. I wonder if people had to go there year after year and to wire the root or change their direction of growth. It sort of reminds me of bonsai trees and how people wire the trunks of the trees.

    Finding Travel Partners Online

Personally I don't like meeting people online. My best friend had some problems with this in the past. She is so sweet and can really get suckered into feeling sorry for a person. I try to stay away from online relationships and conversations. I don't need the problems they can bring.

    Non Meat Dishes

This is great to know. I had a trout one time that had a dirty taste to it. I think it was because of the water it lived in. I love fresh fish and go to our local fish market once a week. I think eating fish is the ultimate for our health.

    Camping In India

I have stayed at a few campgrounds that were very unique. They had an open area designated for tents. They also had small rooms available to sleep in. The rooms came with a king size bed. The rooms were small and the beds were a little hard. But overall it was enjoyable to stay there.

Where Is The Best Place For Vegan Bed & Breakfast Accommodation?

Diet is very important when you travel. Finding the right accommodation for your dietary needs is just as important. I'm sure that in India that a few people have switched from vegetarianism to vegan now. I don't think you'll have to hard of a time finding the right place to stay.

    Farmer's Market

Do you happen to know if they hold weekly farmer's markets in India? I'd love to visit one and buy some fresh fruits during my stay in India. I find the farmer's markets have better fruits and vegetables to offer than the local stores.

    Non Meat Dishes

I don't eat a lot of meat because it doesn't seem to agree with me. In recent years I basically eat a lot of chicken and fish. I'm curious what types of fish they have in India. I'd love to try some fish with a nice curry sauce over it.

    Limo Services

I would think they had a limo service in India. I think if you look online and do a little research you should find a little more information. I also think your travel agent will know this answer. If not they should be able to find it out for you.

Trains Where to place luggage on Indian trains

Thank for the great tip. I'll make sure I bring a lock with me if I plan on traveling by train. I was thinking of just using the train in the general area to get from one location to another. I haven't yet decided if I want to take the train to another city and stay there for a few days or not.

    Touring By Bicycle

Now that would be fun to rent a bike for the day. Not sure if I would tour India on a bicycle, but for a day this one could prove fun. I like this idea and think if you stay away from high traffic areas you should be fine.
