There are quite a few places in Bhopal and nearby areas. Most of them are historical monuments. Tell us what interests you and will be glad to pin-point places.

The Bandra Terminus station is quite close to the airport itself. A direct cab would be preferred mode of transport as trains would involve changing quite a bit. The cab fare would not exceed Rs100 under worst traffic scenarios.

You can fly to Pune and then rent a cab. The distance is about 200km and would involve a drive of about 4 hours.

I haven't been there personally. My friends have reported excellent sightings in the month of May.
