I would think it's best to keep hand sanitizer on you and make sure you are sensible about where you get your food from but that's the same advice I would give regardless of the destination.
What kinds of alcohol are served in India? I know you can get beer but I was wondering if there are any traditional types of alcohol there, forgive me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming most Indian people don't drink alcohol so was just curious about it.
Mutton is the name of meat from an older sheep so no it's not the same as lamb, it's the same animal but not a young animal. As someone has mentioned above though I think in India mutton might mean goat. I've never had goat myself but I'd love to try it in an Indian curry, I'd like to try...
I love getting Indian takeaway and going to Indian restaraunts here in the UK, the curries are so full of flavour and I really like naan breads and pickles and pretty much anything with spinach in it! I was just wondering how authentic Indian food made in India differs to the food we get here...
All of that looks amazing! I think I could too easily over indulge though. I'm now trying to think of something to eat at home that would be similar but I just don't have the right ingredients. All that butter though, tasty but fattening!
I would wear light materials because it's going to really hot and I think dressing conservatively is a good idea, I like to keep my skin covered anyway because I'm very fair and burn very easily so nice light fabrics that protect my skin from the sun are a must.
