    The Food.

My mouth is watering just thinking about the food in India! This is very helpful to me to know that the recipes from south India are typically healthier. I'm a bit of a health nut, so I'll have to keep this in mind when planning my trip.

Provision For Leaving The Cruise Midway?

I'm not much of a cruise person myself, but I think they have helicopters and possibly some other options for getting people off the boat in the event of a personal emergency. They can't have all those people stuck out there without the ability to evacuate for an advanced medical emergency or a...

    Tofu

I'm pretty sure I've seen tofu options when I've looked for Indian recipes. If that doesn't work out, though, look for paneer. It's pretty high in protein, so it would make a good substitute.

    Understanding Camping In India

I've seen some discussions taking place about camping in India and I wanted to get some clarification regarding what it's like. In the U.S, we have many different kinds of campgrounds and you can usually find a choice anywhere you go. Some have facilities (bathrooms, showers, etc.) and others...

How Do You Like To Take Your Holiday?

I plan to a certain extent, but I don't go crazy with it. I like to make sure I have reservations in advance for snorkeling trips and private fishing charters. It can be upsetting if you don't have the big things reserved and they're all booked up when you get there.

    House Boat Rentals

I think I saw something about house boats in the Adaman Island area. If they have them there, maybe they have them in other areas, too.

I Can't Wait To Try Beach Yoga

The resort I stayed at the last time I was in the Caribbean had yoga classes on the beach and it was wonderful! I have never felt so relaxed while exercising. I hadn't thought about looking for a beach yoga class while in India, but I will now.

    The Best Night Life?

That's good to know, deatheater. Thanks! Would you say that these clubs are super loud or are they the type of places where you can have a conversation?

    Swimming In Hotels

In all of my travels, I've never had a problem with a pool at a hotel. It's not a complicated thing to keep clean and they usually have a staff just for pool maintenance.

    Hotel Breakfast Question

I wouldn't expect much for $7.99, especially if it's a nice hotel. I've paid that much for a piece of toast at some resorts. It's highway robbery, but they get away with it.

    Restricted Area Permit

What is involved in upgrading a visa to include a Restricted Area Permit? I saw that the Andaman and Nicobar Islands require foreigners to have a RAP and I'm wondering if it's easy to get that or if I'm going to have to jump through hoops.

    Clear Water Beaches In India

I don't mind sandy water, but I can't stand swimming where there are tons of weeds and rocks. Chahal, those islands look stunning! I would love to go there, but then I'd probably never want to leave!

    Bird Watching

Is there any specific region that would be especially good for bird watching? Are there any bird sanctuaries in India? My daughter has been getting into bird watching lately and I thought supporting that while on vacation would be a fun memory for her. Seeing birds in a different country and...

    Seafood

Being a pescetarian, this is particularly important to me. I eat fish and seafood almost exclusively when I am traveling, so I'm happy to hear it will be readily available.

    Long Vacation

The junk food chains definitely have a strong international presence. Personally, I prefer eating locally when I am away from home. American cuisine doesn't excite me too much when we're home, let alone when we're somewhere different.
