As long as you don't stay past the date no it shouldn't be, but if you have time to update it I would do it because you don't want any questions or concerns going through customs.

^^ Exactly. Stick with people you know, go in a group, or find people there that speak the same language on vacation as well that you would like to see the sights with.

It doesn't matter really, at least that I know of, the weather isn't like it is here when you go there.

I use sunblock everywhere but yes you are correct it is a little stronger in that part of the world. I would at least make sure your face is protected and wear a hat. Don't wait until you get there to buy it either as its probably a safer bet getting it here first.
