I was looking through the photo gallery on this site. I saw a beautiful image of the ruins of the glorious past. Does anyone happen to know if they have guided tours that would take you to some of these ruins or temples? I love seeing the past and understanding the history of the country.

I saw some excellent images of the Roing River. I was wondering if anyone in or around this area offers river rafting day trips. I wouldn't even mind taking a 3 day trip day trip down the river. How can I find out about river rafting and what I might need to bring with me?

When I travel I love to play a round of golf at popular golf courses. Do anyone know if the Shilong Golf course rents clubs. I never travel with my clubs and normally just rent a set for the day. Also do they have caddies and cart rentals?

After what I've heard from a few friends I'm in no hurry to try goat meat. Now on the other hand, lamb does sound good. I heard that lamb dishes are delicious. I would love to try curry lamb when I am there.

You sure are right about that one. I think if you travel that far to see India, it's a must to take a hike. Enjoy the view, landscape, mountains, rivers, and valleys. I will plan one day to do this when I'm in India.

I would love to visit a zoo if it had the animals living in a more natural habitat. I have visited a few zoos and most of the animals are in cages and they are rather small. I think if the zoo had nice enclosures and you could see the animals resting or roaming around this would be excellent.

This is a shame. I wonder why the cuisine here is so different than other parts of India. It would make perfect since if the food here was similar to different regions. I guess each regiojn in India has their own cuisine and what they offer tourists and locals to eat.
