Our family is going to be in India soon, and my brother and I want to see other places in India apart from the usual our hometown. We want to go to the different parts of India and visit places and see the famous things. We will have 18 days stay in India which I think is enough for us to travel to the different parts of the country. We would like some help and get some recommendations on the 10 places to visit in India so that we can get an itinerary going and show the plans to our parents.
Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes. Not knowing your interests I can recommend beaches in Goa, wildlife in Coorg, Snow in Kashmir, Waterfalls in several parts of the country but I am fascinated with Jog Falls. I am sure you would not want to miss Agra for visiting Taj Mahal, Darjeeling for the sunrise view from Tiger Hill, the rising and setting sun at the same spot in Kanyakumari, Would you like to risk a boat ride on the Narmada River? We are gold this river is infested with crocodiles but you cannot miss those gorgeous sculptures skirting the river on one side made of natural soft stone. For street food no place is better than Delhi. Any travel agent will chalk out an itinerary for you after you have decided on your interest.
