Ahmedabad to Nashik Route

I will be driving to Nasik from Ahmedabad and the only route I know is the one which foes past Saputara, I really want to avoid this route as I want to avoid the ghat sections, is there an alternative router which I can take. If there is an alternative route what is the road condition like?

There are two routes which you can take.

Ahmedabad - Vadodara - Dabhoi - Badwani - Sendhwa - Dhule - Malegaon - Nashik or

Ahmedabad-Vadodara-Atul-Pondha Village-Nasik.

The first route distance would be around 654km and the second route would be around 490km. Both road conditions are good.

The first route has slightly better road conditions than the second route, but the second route is the one which allows you to reach Nasik in the shortest time.

Yes, there is an alternative route to Nasik from Ahmedabad that avoids Saputara. The distance is 488 km and it should take about 8 hours and 54 minutes to complete.

I cannot provide information on the road conditions at this time, but since this route avoids ghat sections, it is likely to be an easier drive than the route that goes through Saputara.
