My son wishes to go camping, and as I can not take too much time out I can only go a certain distance which is near Delhi. I am looking for places for camping near Delhi which is around 2-3 hours drive away so that I can at least spend a whole weekend at camping and be back home in time to get back to work. Here are the best camping sites located near Delhi: Camping Sites Near Delhi (Under 100 Kilometres Away) 1. Camp Tikkling - This camping site is about 48 kilometres away from New Delhi and just about 22 kilometres away from Gurgaon. The camp is set on the foothills of the Aravalli Hills so you can enjoy the surrounding mountain views while you're here. During night time, you can gaze at the night time skies with the twinkling stars. The camp site also has plenty of activities to keep both the young and adults busy. Some of the adventure activities offered here are rock climbing, rappelling, valley crossing, trekking and obstacle courses. The camping site has spacious grounds for playing sports like cricket or football. On the other hand, adventure activities like rock climbing, trekking and obstacle courses are also available here. Other activities like nature walks, camel carts, tractor rides and pottery can also be done here. Tent pitching is also allowed within the camp grounds. The camp site also has a lounge area which doubles as a dining area for guests. The kitchen provides local and regional cuisines to guests too. Unlike the other camping sites, the Camp Wild Dhauj has Eco-Lodges and Glamping Tents so you won't even need to bring your own tents to pitch. The Aravalli ranges are also visible from the camp itself. They also have a myriad of adventure activities to choose from like rappelling, rock climbing, hiking, flying fox and valley crossing.
