I am looking for some good decent bars and restaurants in Pune and in particular those where you can go and relax with friends and the place should not really have a bad crowd or anything, matured crowd.
I have heard that Touche Sizzler is a good place, but I need some other recommendations as well.
    Thanks forum members.

Although there is a list of some good bars and restaurants, to be honest majority of the bars and restaurants in Pune are good. Area does matter and you will know of that anyway from the looks of the place. A lot also depends on personal choice as well, to what one personal

Hello and welcome to the forum!

There's a couple of chill and laid-back bars that you might enjoy in Pune. These aren't the usual crowded and noisy bars as you have requested. Here they are:
    • Soho Bar. Located in: Metro Traders Compound, Kalyani Nagar, Next to Bishop’s School, Pune, 411016. This is a bar/lounge/restaurant. They have a wide variety of drinks and cocktails. The ambience here is perfect for just hanging around and chatting with friends. Food here is delicious as well, try out their Mixed Chicken Platter, it goes well with some drinks.
    • Bombay Bronx. Located in: City Point, Dhole Patil Road, Pune. The design of the place is Bollywood style. As soon as you enter, there's a laid-back and chill vibe to the bar. They also have a wide range of cocktails and other drinks. The music selection is great as well, with a mix of Hindu and English songs. Try out their Chicken Malai Tikka and Masala Fish Fingers. It's a great place to have a little fun with your friends.
    • High Spirits. Located in: 35, A 1, Near ABC Farms, KP Annexe, Mundhwa Road, Mundhwa, Pune. Now, this is an exception, since it can get crowded at times. However, it's very much worth it still. Try and go during their Sunday open air cookout. There's unlimited drinks and barbecue for the guests along with a live music playing.
    • Frozen Monkey. Located in: Lobby Level, The E-Square Hotel, 132 A, Shivaji Nagar, Pune. They have a huge space unlike other bars. Drinks and cocktails here are quite in the cheaper side too. Pizzas here are scrumptious and a must try. They also have a pretty laid-back crowd so it's a great place to chill with your friends.
Here are some of the best restaurants in Pune:
    • Vohuman Cafe. Located in: Millennium Star, Sassoon Road, Pune Near Ruby Hall. Perfect place for having breakfast with friends. Their Cheese Omelette has a melt in your mouth taste. Yum!
    • The 1st Brewhouse. Located in: The Corinthians, NIBM Annex, Kondhwa, Pune. With their various selection of beers, you won't have to go anywhere else for drinks. The ambience at the restaurant is quite laid-back too. Aside from that, their menu compliments the beer.
    • Pagdandi Books Chai Cafe. Located in: Shop 6, Regent Plaza, Baner Pashan Link Road, Behind Symantec, Baner, Pune. It's a unique restaurant with different kinds of books for the reader in you. The food here is quite good too. Reading a book is best paired with their delicious coffee here. Otherwise, you can just have fun chatting with your friends as the restaurant is pretty serene and quiet.
    I hope this helps!
