There are two main routes to reach Kailash Mansarovar from India

The Lipulekh Pass route in Uttarakhand. This route is the most popular and takes about 24 days to complete. The journey starts from Delhi and goes through Dharchula, Tawaghat, Lipulekh Pass, and finally to Mansarovar.

The Nathu La Pass route in Sikkim. This route is shorter and takes about 21 days to complete. The journey starts from Siliguri and goes through Gangtok, Nathu La Pass, and finally to Mansarovar.

Both routes require a permit from the Chinese government, which can be obtained through a travel agency. The permits are usually issued 3-4 months in advance.

In addition to the two main routes, there is also a third route that goes through Nepal. However, this route is not as popular as the other two, as it is more expensive and requires a longer travel time.

Here is a table summarizing the different routes to Kailash Mansarovar:

For the Lipulekh Pass route the starting point would be Delhi and the duration would be 24 days, for this you will require a permit.

For the Nathu La Pass, your starting point would be Siliguri and the duration would be 21 days and a permit is required.

For the Nepal route the starting point would be Kathmandu, the duration would be 30 days and you don't need a permit.
