Overview

MAC Cosmetics India
In India, there are over 20 MAC stores catering to the beauty needs of the locals. In Mumbai alone, there are seven MAC branches located in different areas of the metro city. As mentioned above, MAC has a whole range of products, from lipsticks, foundations and blushes. Even the variety of colours for each product are quite extensive. The Prep + Prime Products can be used before and after the makeup application proper. Some products like the Prep + Prime Skin, the Prep + Prime Natural Radiance, the Prep + Prime BB Beauty Balm SPF 35 and the Prep + Prime Face Protect Lotion SPF 50 are used prior to makeup application. They help improve the canvas, making the skin smoother, less redder and overall prepared before the application of the foundation or powder. The Prep + Prime Lip also helps make the lips smoother and better able to handle the lip product you're applying. The Pro Longwear Products is MAC's professional line, which can be used by makeup artists or even those who need long lasting makeup for their professions. The Pro Longwear Paint Pot is a cult favourite amongst makeup enthusiasts. It is a creamy type of eye shadow that can be used as a base for powder eye shadows. Of course, the Pro Longwear Foundation is another favourite as it comes in different shades, catering to the light-skinned and even the dark-skinned individuals. It can cover imperfections well even with just a little amount of the product. If you have more imperfections to cover up, like dark eye circles, you can use the Pro Longwear Concealer. This line, the Mineralize Products, are meant for individuals with sensitive skin. These products are all in mineral form, which is believed to be more hypoallergenic and suitable for individuals who get break outs easily from normal makeup lines. With this line, you get everything too, from eye shadows, foundations, blushes, lipsticks and lip glosses. The line has two types of foundations, the Mineralize Foundation, a baked type of foundation and the Mineralize Moisturise SPF 15 Foundation, a liquid type of foundation. The line also has a highlighter: the Mineralize Skin Finish, a blush: the Mineralise Blush and two types of lip products: the Mineralize Glass and Mineralize Rich Lipstick. The Studio Moisture Cream can be used prior to applying the foundations for a smoother face canvas. The Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is very convenient and efficient. It comes in a sleek black compact and the powder can be applied dry for a lightweight every day powder foundation or wet for a medium to heavy coverage foundation. The Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 is the liquid version of the foundation, which has full coverage and comes in a matte finish. Both the Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer and Studio Tech are concealers containing some vitamins that can cover imperfections in the face. Other products in the line are the Studio Nail Lacquer and the Studio Conceal and Correct Palette.
