What is the most traditional drink in India? For example, I know that in North Africa, many countries offer green tea to their guests. Is there such a thing in India?
Isn't it Chai? I think that is the traditional drink in India. Correct me if I am wrong though. I think there is also something called Masala Chai, but I am not sure what it is.
As far as I know, Masala Chai is a variation of Indian tea where they add Indian herbs and spices for extra flavor. I have never tasted it, but I would love to.
I have never heard of Masala Chai and it really sounds interesting and delicious. I have never tried adding any spices to my tea; except for cinnamon and I really love the taste.
