Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of India - a part of the State of Tamilnadu. It is embraced by the Indian ocean in the middle, the Bay of Bengal in East and the Arabian Sea in the West. One can view the sunrise and sunset standing at the same spot. It is fascinating to see different shades of the sand that these 3 water bodies hold. The tourists get tempted to buy the sand that is collected by urchins there. We bought too. While at Kanyakumari tourists can avail of the opportunity to sail across and spend time at the Vivekananda Memorial which sits on a rock.
Amazing! Amazing! Which part of Kanyakumari does the sun rise up so well and sets down so beautifully? Is it at the beach shore? I've always been a fanatic of taking selfies on these occasions (sunrise and sunsets) when the camera displays the sun behind you..I'd love to know
You just need to stay in a hotel that faces the sea or even get out on to the beach to get photographs. Both sunrise and sunset will be in the same place. The only snag could be the day you are there it should not be cloudy. You must pick a season that is bright and sunny. April May should be fine Here are two photographs picked from Wikimedia Commons that will show you pictures of both sunrise and senset at the same location Source: Wikimedia Commons
