Weekly Or Monthly Bus Or Train Passes

Does anyone know if they sell a weekly or monthly buss or train pass. I would rather just purchase a pass for my stay in India. I don't always carry a lot of change with me to pay the small buss fairs. It would be nice if I just had a pass I could show when I was using the public transportation system in India.

Yes, weekly and monthly passes are available for buses and for the local train services such as the Metro Rail.

It is convenient getting s weekly or monthly pass as it does save a lot of time and hassle queueing up at the rail station and sorting out change for tickets on the bus.

That is a convenient arrangement obtaining passes for bus or train journey. Every State in the country has those arrangements and in fact students are given heavy concessions and so do seniors. Students and seniors have to apply for the concession providing relevant documents.
