Which is better for shopping Beijing or Shanghai?

My winter holiday this year is going to be in China, and I will be visiting both Beijing and Shanghai. I am someone who shops a lot when on vacation, and going abroad I have to make sure I get gifts for family and friends as well as for myself.

I need some help from forum members to advice which is better for shopping Beijing or Shanghai?

I am not too sure what kind of products I would find in either of the destinations.

If you can do a bit of bargaining then Beijing is the place to go shopping as they are a lot of markets there, and you can get some good deals on things. Beijing also has more choices especially the Ya Xiu and Pearl Market.

So overall Beijing is the better option for shopping.
