5 Star Hotel in Delhi

My wife and I will be in Delhi for our holidays. We have decided to stay at a 5-star hotel in Delhi and needed to know which 5-star hotel we should consider and where in Delhi we should choose to stay?
We would have our private cab to take us to places.

We ideally require a location which would have easy access to the popular places to visit, some shopping places and also restaurants.

Another point to note is that in case we don't want to travel in a car and want to go out for a late night dinner, it would be good to get an auto from the hotel, so would we be able to get an auto outside of the 5-star hotel?

Please also mention if the hotels which you mention are close to the Delhi Metro line?

• Le Meridien Hotel. This is also just a 9-minute walk from the metro station. Aside from that, the popular Connaught Market is just 2 kms from the hotel. The Janpath Market, another famous shopping destination, is also just a few minutes away from the hotel. Their Executive Room is quite elegant and luxurious. Amenities include: a mini-bar, tea/coffee maker, bathtub in the bathroom and a work desk. They have a rooftop restaurant called "Le Belvedere." Their cafe called "Longitude" is perfect for just relaxing and having some snacks. For souvenirs, they have the "Shopping Arcade" where you can shop for jewellery and fabrics. • The Imperial Hotel. This is very close the the Connaught Place. The airport is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. Their Deco Room is quite impressive, combining modernity and traditional design. There's a minbar filled with goodies as well as a tea/coffee maker. There's also a flat screen television on the room. WiFi is available by request. They also have many restaurants you can choose from. My favourite would be The Atrium which is a tea lounge. They also have swimming pool, a spa and a salon. • The Lalit. This is very near Connaught Place as well. It's also just a few minutes away from the railway station and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Their Deluxe Room has a city or pool view. There's a mini-bar, a writing desk and a tea/coffee maker. There's LED television, WiFi and a DVD player as well. Its tariff is at Rs. 7,529 per night. They have a spa, shopping centre, swimming pool and even an art gallery. They also have different restaurants you can choose from.
