Hey guys. My SO is Canadian and we're wondering if a visa is required to visit India. I have an American passport and from what I understand, I need to get a visa.

Hi Leahcim132. Yes all Canadian citizens require a Visa to go to India. They call them E-visas, because everything is done online. The Canadian citizen can go online and apply for a tourist visa. It takes 3 to 12 business days to process. They give you 30 days tops to visit the country. The application is around US$50 and you need to pay an additional US$60 to get the citizen's passport stamped at the airport. Hope this helps.
