Hello there, welcome to the forum!
Here are your transportation options for Bangalore to Coorg:
1. By KSRTC Bus - Several government buses ply through Bangalore to Coorg. These are buses operated by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation. Keep in mind that some of these buses have their destination point in Mangaluru so you have to be dropped off along the way in Coorg. Here are their timings:
- Airavat Bus - Bus timings are 7:02, 10:03 and 23:12. Bus fare is Rs. 396 per passenger.
- Airavat Club Class Bus - Bus timings are 12:05 and 15:33. Bus fare is Rs. 441 per passenger.

You can board these buses from the Kempegowda Bus Station, also known as Majestic Bus Station in Bangalore. It is just opposite the Bangalore City Railway Station.
2. By Private Bus - There are also plenty of private bus operators plying this route. some of them are:
- Poornima Tours (Non AC Seater Bus) - Bus timings are 10:00 pm, 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm. Bus fare is at Rs. 300 per passenger.

These buses depart from Gandhi Nagar and the Majestic Bus Station as well.
3. By Train - Coorg doesn't have its own railway station. The closest railway stations to it is the Mysore Junction Railway Station. Here are some train timings from Bangalore Junction to Mysore Junction:
- Kaveri Express Train No. 16021 - Departs daily at 4:00 and arrives at 6:50.
- Mayiladuthurai Mysore Express Train No. 16231 - Departs daily at 6:00 and arrives at 9:00.
- Hampi Express Train No. 16591 - Departs at 6:30 and arrives at 9:15.
From Mangalore to Coorg, the distance is about 150 kms more. There are buses plying this route though. KSRTC operates a few buses, these are their timings:
- Airavat - Bus timings are 15:31 and 21:25. Fare is at Rs. 230 per passenger.
- Karnataka Sarige - Bus timings are 16:30 and 18:30. Fare is at Rs. 140 per passenger.
- Rajahamsa Executive - Bus timings are 14:00, 18:30 and 20:15. Fare is at Rs. 176 per passenger.
These buses depart from the KSRTC Bus Station in Mysore. You can find it in the Bangalore Nilgiri Road. I also found one private bus in this route:
- Ashwini Tours and Travels - Bus departure is 1:30 am. Fare is at Rs. 380 per passenger.
4. By Taxi - You can also rent a taxi to reach Coorg. Fare is at Rs. 4,000 and above. It's the most convenient yet most expensive option though.
Out of these options, I'd recommend just riding a bus to reach Coorg. The journey time isn't that long, maybe about 5 to 6 hours and the route is quite scenic. It's also cheaper than renting a taxi. Riding a train is good too, especially if you choose a higher class.
I hope this helps.
