How To Reach Shirdi By Flight?

My mother would like to go to Shirdi, so we have planned to make it a family holiday with my wife, 5 year old and myself with my mother and father. She isn't comfortable going on long journeys and going on a train would take around 20 hours, which we would like to avoid.

The other option is going by flight so that we arrive straight in Shirdi and therefore I would like to know how to reach Shirdi by flight?

There is a newly opened airport in Shirdi, which is 14km away from the main Shirdi town. Two flights operate daily to and from Shirdi airport, one is Alliance Air which departs from Hyderabad and Mumbai and the other flight is Ventura Airconnect which departs from Surat.

The other option is Aurangabad Airport which is 130km away from Shirdi. Aurangabad Airport is connected to many major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc.
