Kerala Trip in September

I am planning a trip to Kerala during the month of September, and the trip duration will be for a week. I am a kind of person who prefers a bit of peace rather than go to different places and making a holiday hectic and tiring. I have researched about many locations in Kerala but am confused to which location I should choose, so please suggest some suitable locations.

The places which you should visit are Munnar and Alappuzha and Kumarakom (backwaters). You should spend at least 3 days in Munnar and 4-5 days at Alappuzha and Kumarakom and do a cruise there.
