Places to Visit in Rajasthan

I am finally going to start my long time ambition of exploring India, and I will be starting my trip in Rajasthan. Along with me will be my two cousins.
I have only been to Jaipur in Rajasthan and stayed there for two days so didn't get to see much.

I would like to get a list of the places to visit in Rajasthan. It would be a bonus to get a list under those places of what can be seen there, i.e., Jaipur - Hawa Mahal.

I have given a months time to explore Rajasthan, do you think that is enough?

Below is a list of the best places to visit in Rajasthan along with the tourist destinations in each place:

Jaipur

• Amer Fort. This served as the residence of Rajput Maharajas and their families. It provides a representation of different Hindu elements in its design and architectural style.
• City Palace. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Jaipur, it's a palace complex which houses different hotels and palaces inside it.
• Jantar Mantar Observatory. A great representation of Vedic astronomy that attracts tourists locally and internationally.
• Antique Walking. Explore the area and see prehistoric buildings as well as different crafts and temples within the place.

Udaipur

• Kumbhalgarh Fort. The birthplace of Maharana Pratap, one of the greatest warriors of India.
• Lake Pichola. A famous lake which is the home to other attractions like Jag Niwas, Jag Mandir and Mohan Mandir. Consider a boat tour to be able to visit all these places.

Jodhpur

• Mehrangarh Fort. Considered as one of the largest forts in India. It also has a museum beside it.
• Umaid Bhawan Palace. The Jodhpur Royal Family still resides here although a part of the palace has been leased out to the Taj Hotel Group.

Jaisalmer

• Jaisalmer Fort. Famous for its yellow hues that reflect sunlight.
• Sam Sand Dunes. Visit and explore the That Desert and be amazed by its beauty.
• Gadsisar Lake. Said to be the main source of water for the people of the area during ancient times.

Ajmer

• Pushkar Lake. Believed to treat diseases if you dip in the lake.
• Nizammudin Dargah. This is where the grave of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinudeen Chisti can be found.
• Camel Fair. Camels are put into competitions which attracts thousands of tourists a year.

Mount Abu

• Dilwara Jain Temples. A famous pilgrimage site which features intricate carvings and beautiful architectural designs.
• Mount Abu Camping Site and Sanctuary. Perfect for the adventure and nature lovers.
• Nakki Lake and Toad Rock.
• Guru Shikhar. At the peak is a temple and an observatory.

Is the That Desert the same thing as the Thar Desert? I would love to go to the Thar Desert. Not only does it have a unique ecology and a rich cultural history, but it also is the sight of the first Indian testing of atomic bombs, right? Are the Manganiyar and Langha communities still culturally the way they have been for centuries, or have they been affected drastically by globalization?
