Planning A Trip To Goa!

Hi everyone! I have been considering making a trip to Goa, not sure when though, but I have a few questions about it, before I make a final decision.;'p[ I'm hoping you can help. I was considering visiting the Goa beaches because I've heard they are famous for their party-like atmosphere, so I ask.......

When would be the best time of the year to go to Goa for this type of atmosphere?
What are the best hotels close or located in Goa beaches?
Do you know of good restaurants in Goa close to the sea?
How is the nightlife in Goa, and are there any good clubs to visit?
And last which would you consider to be the city in India with the best party nightlife?

When would be the best time of the year to go to Goa for this type of atmosphere?

Best time to go to Goa would be between November and March. Rest of the year is a bit warm and humid.

What are the best hotels close or located in Goa beaches?

There are plenty of properties bang on the beach and it would be unfair to name one or two out of those. If you are looking for something high end I can recommend Leela Kempinski.

Do you know of good restaurants in Goa close to the sea?

There are so many food outlets and restaurants right on the beaches where ever you go and they all sell excellent sea food.

How is the nightlife in Goa, and are there any good clubs to visit?

Goa has a great night life and there are parties on beaches all over the place.

And last which would you consider to be the city in India with the best party nightlife?

Bangalore , Gurgaon, Mumbai, Delhi are all great cities for night life and Goa of course.

I've heard a lot of great things about Goa and it's on my 'must see' list. I especially want to experience its night life that I've heard so much about with the parties, the restaurants, the clubs and the casinos. I can't wait to go there.

It should be pointed out that the partying style of holiday that you are expecting is mostly associated with the Northern part of Goa, so I'd make sure your hotel is in the North. The South is generally much more quiet and rustic from what I understand. Also, though Goa is awesome, you guys shouldn't be misled into expecting it to be some sort of beach paradise.

I think you're right to now let yourself get your expectations too high. Goa is great, but maybe not the greatest destination in India. And thank you for the tip about North and South Goa. A lot of people have made Goa out to be a hive of activity with non-stop beach parties and live casinos. Maybe this calls for a bit more research online.
