Traveling From Dalhousie To Dharamshala

I will be making a quick trip from Dalhousie to Dharamshala for about 2-3 days and require some help regarding the trip to Dharamshala.

1. Is there a bus which goes from Dalhousie to Dharamshala?

2. What are the bus timings, cost and duration of the trip?

3. Can you recommend a good but cheap hotel in Dharamshala, with a maximum budget of Rs1000.

Hi, here are my answers:

1. There are three buses between 8 AM to 1 PM from Dalhousie to Dharamshala. From Dalhousie - Panthakot - Chamba - Dharamshala/Mcleodganj. You can avail from Prince Travels or Bedi Travels bus.

2. The buses go for about every hour starting from 6:30 AM. Last trip is 8:30 PM. The trip can take from 4.5-7 hours. It costs about Rs 150-190.

3. Mount View Hotel, Hotel Pink Whit or Hotel Shikhar are the affordable accommodations that have good reviews.
