Weather in Goa in July

My kids want to go to Goa and the only time my husband and I have some time off is in July. Monsoons kind of start by then and we are not quite sure whether it is a good idea to go Goa in July.

I would like to know what the weather in Goa in July is like and whether it is a suitable time for a holiday with the kids?

The kids and also us are eager to do some water sports while in Goa, so we don't know whether it would be feasible during July?

July will see heavy rains in Goa in the ordinary course but being what it is with weather being so erratic it could just be warm and dry. July is a nice month to visit Goa with greenery all over and the beaches clean and inviting. There are several water sports associations in Goa. attached to every single beach around. They will guide you with all the details.
