What are the best places to visit in Arunachal Pradesh?

Some well known tourist destination is Arunachal Pradesh are Tawang, Ziro, Itanagar, Mechuka, Mayudia, Pangsau Pass and Parshuram Kund. Among all these places you must visit Tawang. Since the high-altitude mountain "Sela Pass" and second largest Monastery in the world is available here.

Bordering Bhutan, Burma and China, as you probably know, Arunachal Pradesh is the north eastern most state in India and offers some unique landscape, historic sites, and tourist attractions.
In addition to those mentioned by Nexplore (and more specific) you may also want to consider these places in Arunachal Pradesh:
1. Dong Valley
This beautiful valley boasts one of the first appearance of the sun in the morning in the entire country. It is a popular destination for tourists to view a beautiful Indian sunrise.
2. Namsai
This area hosts several Bhudist temples/pagodas, including the "Golden peace pagoda" at Tengapani, which is well worth a visit. You will also find Piyong Reserve forest nearby if you are interssted in hiking, nature, etc.
3. Arunachal (in general)
Here you will find a lot of animal related attractions, such the Mini Zoo, Forest Museum and Wildlife Library. These are good places to visit if you are interested in Indian wildlife. Nearby, you will also find the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Noa-Dihing River.
