Please help me know where I would be able to find a shop that sells salwar kameez.
There's many shops that sell Salwar Kameez in Mumbai. Price ranges as well, you can find shops selling it for a cheaper price than other shops. Here's a
list of some of the places where you can buy Salwar Kameez in Mumbai:

Colaba Causeway. They got it all for you, from Salwar Kameez, to accessories, to jewelries... You'd find it all here. This is in the same area as the Gateway of India. It is also known by the name Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg. You can find a huge range of Salwar Kameez in here as well. Some shops that I know of are:
- Reshma Boutique. Located in: Shop No. 4, Narayan Building, Ground Floor, 1st Pasta Lane, Colaba, Mumbai - 400005, Next To Kailash Parvat Hotel. They do sell Salwar Kameez and other readymade garments.
- Kahazana Boutique. Located in: No. 85 Awabai Mansion, Colaba Causeway, Colaba, Mumbai - 400005, Opposite Electric House. They have different varieties of Salwar Kameez: cotton, embroidered and chikan.
- Rose Wood Boutique. Located in: Shop No. 3, Kulsum Terrace, Colaba Causeway Street, Apollo Bunder, Mumbai - 400001, Opposite Electric House. Aside from Salwar Kameez, they also have bridal dresses.

Kalbadevi Market. You can find this near the Crawford Market. Bargain hunters love this place for its affordable clothes (textiles and ethnic wear) and accessories. And yes, you can find Salwars in here as well. Some shops I know of are:
- Naresh Textiles. Located in: Shop No. 11, 1st Floor Shreenath Bhuvan, 103/105 Old Hanuman Lane, Kalbadevi, Mumbai - 400002, Opposite Hotel Adarsh Palace. They're a Salwar Kameez wholesaler and retailer.
- Tanvi Creation. Located in: Building No. 72, Old Hanuman Lane, Kalbadevi Road, Kalbadevi, Mumbai - 400002, Opposite K K Tailor. Great place for designer Salwar Kameez.
- Balaji Fashion. Located in: Shop No. 40, Building No 76/86 2nd Floor Laxmi Bhawan, Old Hanuman Lane, Kalbadevi Road, Kalbadevi, Mumbai - 400002, Near Adarsh Hotel. They also have designer Salwar Kameez.

Dadar Saree Market. You will find this in Dadar West. They have a huge variety of Indian clothes and fabrics. Shops that I know of are:
- Cotton Cottage. Located in: Dadar West, Mumbai, S K Bole Road, Dadar West, Mumbai - 400028. They have many options for ladies garments as well as Salwar Kameez.
- Suvidha. Located in: Vasant Niwas Building, Ranade Road, Dadar West, Mumbai - 400028, Opposite Dadar West Railway Station. They have been in the business for a long time already so you can trust their clothes' quality.
- Nimantran. Located in: Shop No.3, Laxmi Bhuvan, 270/272, N C Kelkar Road, Dadar West, Mumbai - 400028, Sena Bhawan. They have designer Salwar Kameez.

Mahatma Gandhi Market. You can find this near the King's Circle. It's a great place for an all-in-one shopping, they have clothes, accessories, antiques and other goodies. Some shops here are:
- Singh Sons. Located in: Shop No. 79, Mahatma Gandhi Cloth Market, Sion, Mumbai - 400022, Opp Shanmukhnanda Hall, Near Kings Circle Railway Station. They specialise in wholesaling and retailing Salwar Kameez.
- Sagar Textiles. Located in: Shop No. 130-131 M Gandhi Market, Sion, Mumbai - 400022, Kings Circle. They sell Salwar Kameez as well as dress materials.
- Kasturi Departmental Store. Located in: Plot No. 286 Kalyan Appt, Sion Main Road, Kings Circle, Mumbai - 400019, Near King Circle Station. They have a whole variety of women's clothes.
- Meharsingh Thakarsing. Located in: Shop No. 82-84, Sion, Mumbai - 400022, M Gandhi Market King Circle. They specialise in women's ethnic wear.
Can shop keepers rip you off when selling salwar kameez?
Well, you'd just have to compare prices so you won't be scammed or anything. Before purchasing anything, make sure you have visited a few shops so you'd know the price range of that item. And also, go through several stores before you decide on a Salwar Kameez. Chances are, there's another stall nearby selling the same item for a lower price.
