Bus service from Mumbai to Pune

I would like to know about the bus service from Mumbai to Pune.

I need to be in Pune sometime soon, but I don't have a specific day or time when I would go, so I would to have the information on hand and go knowing that I will get a bus service to Pune.

The information required is the number fo buses that go, how regular they go, and time it would take me to reach Pune.

The distance between Mumbai and Pune is about 148 kilometres. Driving this distance can take around 2 hours and 30 minutes, more when you take public transportation such as a bus or a train. By bus, journey duration would be around 3 hours, more or less. Fortunately, there are plenty of both government-operated and privately-operated buses plying this route. Buses from Mumbai to Pune

1. Government-Operated Buses - The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) operates plenty of buses plying between Mumbai and Pune. The MSRTC has day ordinary, night ordinary and semi-luxury buses. Fares are on the mid-range, from Rs. 231 up to Rs. 446 per passenger. Journey duration is around 3 hours and 15 minutes up to 3 hours and 30 minutes. Below is the time table of the MSRTC buses, for the day ordinary, night ordinary and semi-luxury ones.
