Overview
The distance between Delhi and Agra is about 233 kilometres if you take the Yamuna Expressway. If you take the National Highway, the distance to cover is about 250 kilometres. Journey duration would be around 3 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours, if you drive this distance by car. If you take public transportation, the journey duration would be a bit longer, around 4 hours to 5 hours. You have two options for buses, either government-operated buses or privately-operated buses.
Government Buses from Delhi to Agra

Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) Buses - The UPSRTC operates a few buses plying directly from Delhi to Agra. They have different buses too, namely: Shatabdi AC, Volvo and Jan Rath. They also have different boarding points and drop-off points, depending on the type of bus you choose. Journey duration is around 3 hours to 3 hours and 30 minutes. Fares differ too depending again on the type of bus you choose.

As you can see from the above table, the Shatabdi AC buses operated by UPSRTC depart from Kaushambi Metro Station in Delhi but it also has pickup points in Noida Depot and Pari Chowk. So if you live close to either of these areas, you can also board the bus from these points. The buses would then reach the Agra ISBT in about 3 hours and 30 minutes, more or less. Fare is just at Rs. 404 per passenger.

From the above table, the Volvo buses operated by UPSRTC depart from the Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal in Delhi but they also pick up passengers from Pari Chowk. The buses also reach the Agra ISBT in under 4 hours time. Fare is around Rs. 595 per passenger.

For the Jan Rath buses, they depart either from the New Delhi Railway Station or the Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal. However, they drop off passengers at the Agra Cantt Railway Station instead of the Agra ISBT. Fares are around Rs. 385 and Rs. 405 per passenger. Journey duration is around 3 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours too.
Privately-Operated Buses from Delhi to Agra
1. Fouji Tourist Service - This private bus operator has buses plying between Delhi and Agra, comprising of both non air-conditioned and air-conditioned ones. Their buses depart from Kashmiri Gate ISBT in Delhi and arrive in Agra, near Kuberpur. Journey duration is around 4 to 5 hours though.

2. Hans Travels - This private bus operator has AC sleeper buses plying between Delhi and Agra. This is a good option for women as they have an on-board ladies bathroom. Fares are just at par with the previous bus operator as well. Their buses depart from the Shri Rishabh Travels bus terminal at No. 94 Khana Market. They also have pickup points opposite of the Akshardham Metro Station and in Noida at Bus Shelters No. 3 and No. 4. Journey duration is around 3 hours and 30 minutes up to 4 hours. The buses arrive in MG Road in Agra.

They have Tata AC seater buses, which have air-conditioning too. They depart from the Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal in Delhi but has pickup points in Mahamaya and Pari Chowk. They then arrive in Balu Ganj in Agra.

4. Taj Express Bus Service - The Taj Express Bus Service has non air-conditioned Tata seater buses. They utilise the Yamuna Expressway as well and journey duration is around 3 hours only. They depart from Sector 37 in Noida, near the Indian Oil Petrol Pump and arrive near the Bhagwan Talkies in Agra.
