Jammu To Leh Bus Service

I am from Jammu but live in Ghaziabad. I often visit Jammu for holidays but this time when I go Jammu I would like to go beyond to Leh. I plan to visit Jammu during the months of June and July which is an ideal time to go to Leh.

As my way of traveling is by bus I would like to find out whats available on the Jammu to Leh bus service?
 
There are no direct buses which would take you from Jammu to Leh. Instead, you would have to get a bus from Jammu to Srinagar, then from Srinagar to Leh. Some buses from Srinagar to Leh have a night halt in Kargil. Private buses are available as well as J&K SRTC buses.
